Hi, I'm sitting at this shit ceremony with my cousins and the organizers are playing shit music. Other than that, it's been pretty hectic recently with assignments up to my neck, school, actual-i-get-paid kind of work and ymc/nyaa. And bonus points for this week = my aunt from England and Shaleen from Dubai are both in Singapore! It's pretty awesome cause I miss them a lot!!

Been spending the past few days with Tiara (which results in me speaking in a brit accent unconsciously dayumn) and my cousins! Went swimming early morning ytd and then we went to a flea heh bought some rly nice clothes!! Super cheap prices too ^o^

Maddi Jane is amazing. I don't remember where I first saw her from, but her voice caught me entangled the first time I heard her rendition of Breakeven by The Script. Till now, I really love her covers. And the best part? She's only 12 this year, which makes her beyond amazing. A small girl with a powerful voice is not to be reckoned with. Enjoy!

You played it to the beat.

Age limits.
Sunday, July 3, 2011 @ 13:06

I am seventeen, okay fair enough, I can watch NC16 movies. But, being seventeen means you're not old enough to join competitions like Big Shot 2. And despite photography being somewhat of my passion (the reason why I got a DSLR), there're limits to what I can join. I am hurt ): I really really really wanted to join it! Even downloaded the application form, until I saw
Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents need apply if you are 18 years and above as of 23 June 2011.
WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?! MY LIFE IS A LIEEEEE T__________T And well, I do take some really nice photos still. Come onnnnnnn. I can give examples ok!

Just to put down a few. I think my photography's not bad, though I doubt it's yet on the borders of amazing. But I'm willing to take up classes to improve my skillz, just that I don't have the money to spare yet #brokekidforever and asking my parents to fulfill something I want (at this age come on) is just being really insensitive to the already sensitive issue of finances. Hm, maybe I can pursue it when I get a real proper job in the future, about 4 - 5 years time. Maybe

BUT I AM STILL DISHEARTENED. NYEEEEEEEEEEEEARRRRRRRRRRRGH
I HOPE YOU SEE MY CRIES OF VAIN, BIG SHOT 2 PRODUCERS.
Though even if I was 18, I wouldn't be able to make it cause I have CA10 presentations on 11th Aug... I'm even sadder. School, y u do this to me. D:

On another side, non-ranting note:
I really like my hair now. (except when it frizzes up in the humidity i.e. when i do go out under the sun) But in air-con, at home, my hair has this soft curls effect that many people are dying to have. And my curls are natural ;) But I hate my hair cause it takes super long to grow, since March 7 till now, it's only grown about 2 cm. Yes the only reason I know how much its grown is by my black hair roots (Y) Oh and get this, I can do waterfall braids!!!
Janessa's hair
Sylvia's hair
Anisa's hair

They're much more defined on Sylvia's hair because her hair has highlights and are of a lighter colour, which makes the waterfalls more obvious. But because Janessa's hair is long, if coupled with a lighter hair colour, it will be really nice and pretty too. And Anisa's photo happened to have really good lighting which made the braids really prominent. So yeah. Hopefully my hair will grow long enough for me to have waterfall braids by the end of this year!! Though I still don't know how to end off the braid.... still xD
